Villa Giselle
Rooms with a Soul

Where ?

Our family house is located in the town of Hayange, also called "the cradle of the Lorraine iron", only a few steps away from the former     "Forge Masters" ' castles, at the entrance of the town, a place named "Faubourg Ste Catherine".

Because of its hillside situation, you will enjoy from the house a perfect view on the local landscape markers : the former blast furnaces, the opposite side of the valley with Mary's statue on top and a few special buildings like old schools and heritage registered de Wendel family's cemetary chapel. All the downtown is reachable by a 3 minutes walk.

At the European expressways crossroad Villa Giselle is a good opportunity to make a stop on the holidays road, but also a handy base to discover the "Land of the 3 Borders" as :

At the North-East by the D13 and the A 31 ( Thionville ) the Luxemburg border is only at 15 mn. From the South ( Metz and Nancy ) exit 42 from the A30 is nearly on the spot. From the West ( Belgium through Longwy ) exit 3 on the E411 ( A30 ) is at 4 mn.

What ?

This is a "maison de direction" built around 1930 in the typical architecture of the Fensch Valley in which we have been lucky to be able to create our B&B.

The place is comfortable and calm even if situated downtown, decorated in the "Art Deco" atmosphere which is most appropriated to evoke the "golden hours" of this industrial cultural heritage.

Our hosts will be welcome in the living room, the dining room, and on the 2nd floor in four pretty themed bedrooms, a completely renovated bathroom and separate toilets.

There is also a walled garden and a terrace down below, with much charming intimacy.
